At your window

Privacy at the front. Daylight where you live.

Fairfax County's Vienna planning district includes established single-family neighborhoods and the Vienna Metro station area. A room facing a nearby home calls for different privacy planning than one facing a garden. At your visit, show us the views you want to keep and the windows you tend to leave covered.

Cover the lower glass

Ask about top-down/bottom-up shades if the lower part of the window needs privacy while the upper part brings in useful light. We can compare that approach with a full-window covering in the room itself.

Compare shade styles

Soften light without closing the room

Hunter Douglas Silhouette® and Pirouette® shadings let you adjust fabric vanes within a sheer. Compare the view with the vanes open and the privacy with them closed, rather than choosing from a fabric swatch alone.

Coordinate connected rooms

A dining room and living room can use the same fabric in different forms. A Roman shade suits one opening; drapery panels may make more sense at the next. Plan the sightline between rooms before choosing each treatment.

Before we visit

Bring your questions.
We’ll measure the windows.

Before the visit, note when privacy matters most and take a photo from your usual seat in the room. If a neighboring window or walkway is the concern, point it out so we can compare coverage at the right height.

Your consultation includes a written quote. The design consultant who measures stays with your project, and our own team handles installation.

Questions

Planning your
Vienna project.

Do you have a showroom in Vienna?

Our showroom is in Fairfax at 11213 Route 29, Ste B. We serve Vienna with free in-home consultations, measuring, and installation; there is no separate Vienna showroom.

Can I have privacy without keeping the shades fully closed?

Top-down/bottom-up shades and adjustable shadings are options to compare. The right choice depends on the height of the window and the view into the room, so we look at those together during measuring.

Can the front rooms coordinate without using the same treatment?

Yes. We can discuss coordinating fabrics, finishes, and hardware while choosing the operation separately for each window or door.

Plan your Vienna window treatments.

The consultation is free. A design consultant comes to your home, measures your windows, talks through what would work best, and leaves you a written quote. At the very least, you’ll know exactly what your windows need and what it would cost.
