Most homes have a few windows that face a neighbor or the sidewalk. Those need privacy, and the rest may not. When we visit, show us which windows you keep covered, and we'll plan each one around that.
Top-down/bottom-up shades
These open from the top, so the bottom of the window stays covered while light comes in above. You can compare one with a regular shade right at your window.

Hunter Douglas Silhouette® and Pirouette® have soft fabric vanes inside a sheer. Open the vanes for the view, close them for privacy. They're easier to judge at your window than from a swatch.

What to have ready.
Before we come, think about when privacy matters most, like evenings or when the neighbors are outside. A photo from your usual seat helps. If a window faces a neighbor or a walkway, point it out so we can plan how high the coverage needs to go.
You’ll leave the consultation with a written quote. The consultant who measures your windows stays with your project, and our own team installs it.

Before you book.
Do you have a showroom in Vienna?
No. Our only showroom is in Fairfax, at 11213 Route 29, Suite B. We come to Vienna homes for free consultations, measuring, and installation.
Can I have privacy without keeping the shades closed?
Yes. Top-down/bottom-up shades and sheer shadings both let light in while blocking the view in. Which one works best depends on the window and what's outside it, so we sort that out at your home.
Can connected rooms match if they use different treatments?
Yes. We can match fabric, color, and hardware from room to room while picking the best type of treatment for each window or door.
