Windows you can't reach are good candidates for motorized shades. For a wall of glass or a two-story room, we also look at where the sun hits during the day so we can plan for glare.

What to have ready.
If you're renovating, bring the window plans and tell us whether the walls are still open. Either way, note the windows you can't reach and any you'd like to open and close together.
You’ll leave the consultation with a written quote. The consultant who measures your windows stays with your project, and our own team installs it.

Before you book.
Can you plan motorized shades during a renovation?
Yes. We offer rechargeable and hardwired options, and it's easiest to plan power while the walls are open. We program the controls when we install.
Does every motorized shade need wiring?
No. Most run on rechargeable battery wands you charge once or twice a year. Hardwiring makes more sense if you're building or renovating anyway.
Can I see samples before you come out?
Yes. Visit our Fairfax showroom at 11213 Route 29, Suite B, Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM. It's our only location; there's no McLean branch.
