Built into the house
Shutters
Shutters become a fixture of the home. Once they're in, they look like part of the house, and they usually stay with it when it sells.
We build from Hunter Douglas Heritance® hardwood, NewStyle® hybrids, and Palm Beach™ polysatin. That last one is guaranteed not to warp, which matters through a Virginia summer.
Shutters complete a window, adding a finished look with a variety of frame styles available.

Common questions
Are shutters worth the price?
We think so, and home buyers seem to agree. Shutters convey with the house when you sell, they don't go out of style, and with no cords, strings, or motors to fail, they're a long-lasting option. They're usually the last window covering that room will ever need.
Can you do arches and odd shapes?
Yes. Arches, circles, angles, French-door cutouts. Unusual openings are exactly where careful custom measuring earns its keep.
How long from order to install?
Plan on several weeks, since every panel is built for your specific opening. Your written quote will include the actual timeline, and our own in-house team installs them when they arrive.
